A soaring stateliness, Old Mission has become a familiar landmark in the greater Wichita area. The beautiful Old Mission Mausoleum designed with Bedford limestone and Vermont marble was built by banker, George A. Saxton in 1918.
Mission Chapel Mausoleum with it's beautiful Gothic stained glass windows was built across the street from Wichita State University in 1962.
To compliment the gardens and features of the cemetery grounds, Old Mission Mortuary and Crematory and Serenity Mausoleum were added in the 1970s to accommodate our families.
Everything about our entire facility is planned with the thought of providing convenience, comfort and a place of quiet dignity.
The Old Mission Mortuary Chapel of Memories, Crematory, Mausoleums and beautifully landscaped gardens are all conveniently located at North 21st and Hillside across the street from the renowned Wichita State University.
