Old Mission Mortuary staff attended the Go Red For Women Breakfast In Red event on National Wear Red Day (Feb. 7) to support the American Heart Association. Veterans Day Program

Monday, Nov. 11, 2013

Please join us at 4 p.m. this Veterans Day inside our chapel for a special program to honor the Veterans we served this year. Each family will be greeted by the American Riders as they enter our funeral home, and will have the opportunity to have their photo taken in front of the American Flag as they receive a special certificate commemorating their loved one's service. After the ceremony, refreshments will be served. For more information, please call the funeral home at (316) 686-7311.

2013 American Heart Association

Old Mission Mortuary staff members helped the American Heart Association in the fight against the Nation’s #1 killer by participating as a team in the 2013 Greater Wichita Heart Walk & 5K Run on May 1st. Almost $200,000 funds were raised through the walk, which will be used to support research, community service, educational programs and helps promote physical activity to build healthier lives.

In celebration of National Heart Month, Old Mission funeral directors attended the "Wichita Goes Red" Kick-Off Celebration at the Wesley Medical Center on Jan. 23, 2013. Sheryl, along with her fellow funeral home ladies - Marilyn Milleson, Maria Hernandez & Nina "NJ" Roush - continued to support this great cause by attending the Go Red For Women Executive Women's Breakfast on Feb. 1, which also is National Wear Red Day.
